🕵️‍♂️ Cyber Smart Tip of the Week: Watch for “Refund Problem” Scams
Scammers may claim there’s a problem with your tax refund or direct deposit and ask you to “verify” your bank information. The IRS will not request personal or banking details through email or text. If you receive a message about your refund, verify it directly through IRS.gov before responding.
Please do not send any personal information such as social security numbers, account numbers, passwords, etc. Castle Rock Bank does not accept any liability for any losses or damages resulting from the use of email as a means of communication.
